Wade has turned 30, and I have walked with Wade for 30 years.

Thirty years ago, I was a young man brimming with ambition, bold in responsibility, not yet thirty, with no regrets for my youth. In the blink of an eye, my ambition remains unyielding, I have no regrets for the past, my temples are frosted with age, and I am approaching my sixtieth year.

Reflecting on the present and recalling the past, my thoughts are myriad, joy wells up from within, and I am filled with profound emotions.

30 Years of Wade: Forging Ahead, Chasing Dreams

From a small factory producing terrazzo precast components at its inception, Wade has evolved into a leading enterprise driving the development of the roofing system industry. There were no leaps in growth or explosive transformations. We have always adhered to the rational development philosophy of "pursuing practicality and truth, embracing innovation and change." We do what we ought to do, excel at what we can do, and remain unshaken by temptations or desires. We have evolved from initial "diversification" to "specialization," undergoing constant transformation, integration, tempering, and metamorphosis. With the perseverance of "grinding an iron pestle into a needle," we have polished the brilliant "Wade" brand; with the character of "plum blossoms enduring snow," we have forged Wade's shining edge.

We have never sought the "cleverness" of cutting corners. We act by rules and conduct ourselves with integrity. "Good character yields good products; good products capture good markets" is the mutual validation of character and product.

We have never thought of giving up. In the early days of entrepreneurship, I took Mao Zedong's words—"Resolve to win, fear no sacrifice, surmount all difficulties, and strive for victory"—as my motto, embodying the heroism and boldness of "Yanzhao has always produced generous and tragic heroes."

We never dared to hope that dreams would surely come true. But without dreams, nothing can be realized. We have left our mark with iron resolve, stayed grounded, turned our personal dreams into the shared dreams of all Wade people. Even the arduous pioneering journey has its own glory; by forging ahead ceaselessly, dreams come true.

30 Years of Wade: Roofing the Nation, Virtue Spanning the Globe

Looking back on Wade's 30 years, from nothing to something, from small to large, from weak to strong, this growth path has been both arduous and long, solid and reassuring. "The road ahead is long; I shall search high and low." This is a path of hardship, innovation, and above all, success. Born toward the sun, reborn through nirvana. Launching a project in 40 days; building a new factory in 120 days—this is Wade's resolute, fast-acting work style. In 2014, for our first automated production line in cooperation with foreign partners, the curing system was invented by Wade people themselves. In 2020, at our Hubei Daye factory, foreign experts could not commission the imported automated production line due to the pandemic. Wade people accomplished what foreigners deemed impossible, putting the line into smooth operation. This embodies Wade people's fighting spirit of "confidence in innovation, never admitting defeat."

"Roofing the Nation, Virtue Spanning the Globe" is the core value of the Wade brand. For 30 years, we have upheld this belief. Professional, dedicated, and focused on building "roofing systems," Wade has become a renowned supplier and service provider of "roofing system materials manufacturing and application" at home and abroad. From the snow-capped mountains and black waters of the Northeast, to the picturesque Jiangnan with small bridges and flowing water, to the vast Gobi Desert in Xinjiang, to the beautiful ends of the earth, and to the distant Horn of Africa—Wade's unwavering dedication leaves a beautiful landscape across the world.

Gratitude leads to fulfillment. Wade's 30 years are 30 years of gratitude. "Dare to take responsibility, repay society" is the enduring pursuit of Wade people. In the Wenchuan earthquake, flood relief, targeted poverty alleviation, job placement, and supporting our hometown, Wade has never hesitated to donate generously. All efforts bear fruit; adversity forges excellence. We are grateful to this great era of reform for Wade's 30 years of dedication and growth. Wade has practiced and witnessed China's reform and opening-up, a great era of national prosperity and people's wealth, to which we have made significant contributions. Wade is worthy of this era and cheers for it.

30 Years of Wade: Standing Firm, A Promising Future

Wade has reached 30 years. At thirty, one stands firm—"establishing words, establishing virtue, establishing merit"—the three eternal pursuits and destinations of life. The average lifespan of small and medium-sized enterprises in China is about three years; Wade has far exceeded this, a cause for celebration and pride.

How to maintain "everlasting prosperity" is an urgent problem for Chinese private entrepreneurs and enterprises, and a concern of the whole society. Private enterprises account for "56789" of China's economy, proving their irreplaceable core role. In recent years, the pandemic, environmental regulations, and policy changes have profoundly impacted private enterprises. Amid the "great changes unseen in a century," the economic downturn and uncertain outlook have made "surviving, staying alive" the goal for many enterprises.

At 30, where is Wade heading? How will we walk the path ahead, and how far can we go? These are questions all Wade people must face and answer together. My answer: take "Roofing the Nation, Virtue Spanning the Globe" as our soul, our value and moral system, to strive, fight, and embrace Wade's second "thirty years." Arm ourselves with "hard work, struggle, and innovation" to overcome difficulties, brave storms, march fearlessly, and achieve new successes.

As I write this, I recall a conversation with my eldest grandson years ago. I asked, "What will you do when you grow up?" He said, "I'll make tiles when I grow up." Truly, "A craftsman's child learns the trade by birth." The child's words are playful, not to be taken too seriously. Yet perhaps they are a heartfelt faith and hope—this world, and Wade, belong to the future.
